Quick answer

What do the Isthmus Domains terms say, in short?

Under these terms of 19 October 2026, you pay from a crypto balance (minimum top-up $25), you keep control of your domains, and Panamanian law and courts govern the contract. Isthmus Domains is an offshore domain registrar in Panama: register any domain with no KYC and pay in crypto.

1. Who we are

Isthmus Domains is operated by DomaineGoat LLC, a limited liability company incorporated in Panama ("we", "us"). These terms are the contract between you, the customer, and DomaineGoat LLC for every service on isthmusdomains.com and in the client area.

DomaineGoat LLC is not an ICANN-accredited registrar. Domains are registered through our ICANN-accredited registrar partner. Every domain follows ICANN rules. By opening an account, topping up a balance or ordering a domain, you accept these terms, the acceptable use policy and the privacy policy.

2. Services

We offer:

  • registration of domain names in the extensions on the pricing page;
  • renewal, by hand or with automatic renewal from your balance, switched on or off for each domain;
  • transfer of domains to us and away from us;
  • DNS: free DNS hosting with A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT and CAA records, or your own nameservers (2 to 13);
  • WHOIS privacy, included where the registry allows it;
  • the optional Domain protection described in section 8.

Each registry sets its own rules for its extension, such as HTTPS for .app and .dev, or a minimum of 2 years for .ai. Those rules apply to your domain and prevail where they differ from these terms.

3. Account and identity

No identity document is required, and no email is needed to open the account itself. Each domain needs one email address, required and verified: the registrant email is verified after registration, as ICANN rules require (within 15 days). It is the only contact data we collect. If the email is not verified, the registry or the registrar may suspend the domain until it is.

You must keep that email working and true. Wilfully false data, or no answer to a request to confirm it, breaches the ICANN rules that apply to every domain and can lead to suspension. You are responsible for keeping your password safe.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars per year and are shown on the pricing page, for example $11.99/year for a .com. The price in force when you order is the one you pay. Renewal and transfer prices can differ from the first-year price.

Payment is in crypto only: BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. Each order is paid from a prepaid balance that you top up in crypto, with a minimum of $25 per top-up. Send the exact amount shown, on the right network; the order page shows each step, and the top-up is credited once the network confirms it.

Balance. Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, and it pays for new domains, renewals and transfers. When a purchase costs less than the minimum top-up, the part added only to reach the minimum is refundable on request to support within 30 days of the payment, in USDT or USDC, as long as it has not been spent. The rest of the balance is not paid back, except where the law requires it.

5. Registration, renewal and expiry

A domain is registered usually within minutes of the top-up being credited; a few extensions take a few hours. Failed orders: if a domain cannot be registered (taken in the meantime, registry refusal), the full amount goes back to your balance.

A domain is registered for the period you pay. You renew it by hand, or with auto-renew from your balance. If the balance is too low on the renewal date, the domain is not renewed. After expiry, the registry's own grace and redemption rules apply, and they can include a restore fee set by the registry.

6. Transfers

You may move a domain to another registrar at any time. The transfer (EPP) code is free, requested from the client area; there is no exit fee. Under the ICANN Transfer Policy, a generic domain cannot change registrar for 60 days after registration or after a transfer.

A transfer to us costs the transfer price shown on the pricing page and usually adds one year to the domain. If you add Domain protection to a transfer, $29 covers the year the transfer adds, and the time already paid at your current registrar is billed pro rata ($29 a year) from your balance once the transfer is done. A domain under a UDRP lock cannot be transferred until the case ends.

7. Acceptable use, complaints and court orders

Your use of each domain must follow the acceptable use policy. Phishing, malware, botnets, child sexual abuse material and fraud that takes money from victims lead to suspension within 24 hours of a well-documented report (CSAM: immediately, with a report to the competent hotline or authority).

We take no action on a complaint alone about copyright, defamation, politics or from a competitor: a decision from a Panamanian court is required, and a foreign judgment must first be recognised by the Fourth Chamber of Panama's Supreme Court. Trademark disputes follow the UDRP; see UDRP disputes and complaints and court orders.

8. Domain protection

Domain protection is an option at +$29 a year per domain, on top of the domain price. With it:

  • DomaineGoat LLC is the registrant of record. The registrant record and WHOIS show the company, not you.
  • You are the beneficial owner. You keep full control of DNS, nameservers and renewal from your account, and the domain belongs to you under this contract.
  • Transfer lock on by default. Every transfer or DNS change must be confirmed from your account.
  • Free transfer (EPP) code. You can move the domain to another registrar at any time.
  • Free hand-back in your own name. On request, we change the registrant to you at no charge; the registry may then ask for your own details.
  • Minimum data. DomaineGoat LLC holds only your email. It releases the data it holds only when Panamanian law requires it (a Panamanian court or prosecutor's order), or in a UDRP case.
  • Human review. A person reads every complaint before any action on the domain, and you are told when the law allows it. This review applies only to domains with Domain protection; other domains follow the abuse policy.
  • Price on a transfer in. $29 covers the year the transfer adds; the time already paid at the previous registrar is billed pro rata from your balance once the transfer is done.

The same abuse policy applies as for any domain: phishing, malware and child sexual abuse material are still handled at once. In a UDRP case, the complaint names DomaineGoat LLC as registrant of record; we tell you, you may defend the case, and the panel's decision is applied. Extensions sold only with this option are .de, .uk, .nl, .cc, .to, .ch, .pl, .be, .at, .cz, .nz, .fi. See Domain protection.

9. Your data

We process your data under Ley 81 de 2019, Panama's personal data protection law, as set out in the privacy policy. DomaineGoat LLC releases the data it holds only when Panamanian law requires it (a Panamanian court or prosecutor's order), or in a UDRP case, where the dispute provider receives the registrant record.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend a domain or an account in the cases written in these terms: a strict exception under the acceptable use policy, an unverified email, a Panamanian court decision, a UDRP decision or a registry decision. You may close your account at any time; domains already paid stay registered until their expiry date, and you can transfer them out first.

11. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care, but we do not control registries, the DNS of other networks or blockchain networks. We are not liable for a registry decision, a network delay or a loss caused by a payment sent on the wrong network. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service concerned in the 12 months before the claim, except where Panamanian law does not allow such a limit.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example when ICANN rules or a registry policy change. The date at the top shows the version in force. A change does not alter the price of a period you have already paid.

13. Governing law and courts

Panamanian law governs these terms. Any dispute about them goes to the courts of Panama. This does not remove the UDRP, which applies to generic extensions (.com, .net, .org and the new gTLDs) and to the country codes that adopted it, nor the dispute policy of a country-code registry such as .de, .uk, .nl or .ch, nor any right that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived.
